This day-long conference will include keynote presentations, panel discussions, hands-on breakouts, and delicious food to enjoy. All are welcome! Makers' Market and Happy Hour Saturday, March 15th - 4:30pm-7:00pmConference participants will get to explore ideas, try products, and support local food businesses at the Maker’s Market and Happy Hour. See what’s happening with local foods and take home some goodies to share with family and friends. Browse while enjoying local beer and wine. Makers and community organizations interested in a table are welcome. Share your products, and your ideas. Held at Pueblo Community College.

Join us for an early morning bird walk along the scenic Arkansas River Trail in Pueblo, where we’ll explore the rich ecosystem of this vital water source. From the breadth of the river’s watershed to the delicate world of insects, we’ll delve into the interconnectedness of nature and the critical role this river plays for both wildlife and our community. Whether you're an experienced birder or a curious nature lover, this walk promises a unique opportunity to learn about the birds, bugs, and habitat that thrive along the Arkansas River. Led by expert guides Theron Verna, Land Stewardship Manager for Palmer Land Conservancy, and Marla Browne, board member of Arkansas Valley Audubon Society and passionate birder, this walk is an experience you won’t want to miss. Proceeds support the mission of Pueblo Food Project, helping to nourish our community while we explore the natural beauty around us.
CO Water Trivia and Spirits Tasting
Saturday, March 15th - 7:15pm-9:00pm
Come enjoy an evening of fun, trivia and a range of Colorado produced alcoholic spirits that are made with our state waters. Hosted at the Abriendo Inn! Learn how our distilleries and breweries use the Rocky Mountain rivers and streams to make fantastic wine, whiskey and beer. Ticket price includes your entire tasting flight per person. All attendees must be 21+ to attend this event. This event is co-hosted by CSU Extension - Pueblo County and the Fountain Creek Watershed Districts' Brewshed® Alliance.
Gagliano's Sausage Making

Learn how Pueblo's famous Gagliano's Italian Sausage is made from the one and only. Vince Gagliano! Since 1921, Gagliano's has been making some of Pueblo's best Italian food. Participants will make and take home their own package of Gagliano's sausage!
Fly Fishing on the Arkansas
Sunday March 16th - 1:30pm-3:30pm
Join Southern CO Trout Unlimited for an afternoon of certified fly-fishing fun! This event will be held at Anticline pond and all equipment is provided. A valid and current Colorado fishing license will be required. Waders aren’t required but if you’d like to bring them, your instructor can show you where the best spots are to wade in. If you currently have fly fishing equipment please feel free to bring your own as well to get your equipment up and running for the season
