Southern Colorado Innovation Link and the Pueblo Food Project are hosting a pitch competition for food and agriculture related businesses in Colorado. Pitch your idea to a nationally recognized judging panel including representatives from Whole Foods Market, New Hope Media, Flock Regenerative, and Pueblo Economic Development Corporation. Compete for $20,000 worth of prizes. More information on the pitch competition will be released in August.Inaugural Pueblo Food Systems Leadership Awards, Friday 12th, 6pm - 9pm*
Join us for an evening of celebration as we honor leaders in the Pueblo Food System and announce our pitch competition winners. We will enjoy local food, drinks, and music. We gather to learn, share, inspire, and catalyze community food systems change. This day-long conference will be include key note presentations, panel discussions, hands-on breakouts, and delicious food to enjoy. All are welcome. We are accepting session proposals now. Makers' Market and Idea Fair, Saturday 13th, 8:30am - 6pm
Conference participants will get to explore ideas, try products, and support local food business at the Maker’s Market and Idea Fair. See what’s happening with local foods and take home some goodies to share with family and friends. Makers and Community organizations interested in a table are welcome to participate for free. Each spot includes a table, chair, tablecloth, and electricity. Share your products, and your ideas. UCCS Grain School in the Field, all day Sunday 14th*
