The Pueblo Food Project’s
Entrepreneur Development Program is a first-of-its-kind initiative in Southern Colorado designed to educate, cultivate, and advocate for aspiring food, beverage, and farm businesses. This 16-week, semester-style course offers a unique pathway for entrepreneurs to develop essential skills, receive expert mentorship, and participate in a collaborative community of learning. By reducing barriers and providing direct technical support, we empower local entrepreneurs to turn their visions into successful, sustainable businesses
Since its inception in 2022, the program has successfully graduated over 40 local businesses, including food trucks, caterers, bakeries, and small-scale farmers. This investment pays off, with alumni reporting an average of 40% business growth and tangible progress in revenue, staffing, and operational scale. By fostering this resilient network of local entrepreneurs, we are driving measurable economic growth and creating a more vibrant, circular economy for our community.
